A cortisol synthesis regulator, ketoconazole, in a novel pharmaceutical formulation for the treatment of severe Metabolic Syndrome.

Clinical studies in humans in conjunction with several recently published scientific articles strongly support Cortendo Invest AB's treatment concept, which show important improvements in cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose levels as well as in other important clinical and laboratory parameters of the Metabolic Syndrome and Type 2 Diabetes.
