Cortendo Invest AB (publ) signed a preliminary licensing agreement with DiObex,
Inc, a San Francisco based venture-funded biopharmaceutical company (www.diobex.com).
A final agreement is due to be concluded no later than April 30th, 2005. DiObex
was founded by Daniel Green and Professor Robert Henry. Professor Henry was
principal investigator for the Cortendo phase 2a clinical trial, and has extensive
knowledge of the Cortendo technology. Once granted by Cortendo in the final
agreement, DiObex will have an exclusive worldwide license to all Cortendo
intellectual property. Cortendo will in turn receive royalties from future
sales and will share in the profits from any third party sublicenses.
Further information will be released upon execution of the final agreement.
